TWIN CITIES WINE EDUCATION presents a comprehensive introduction to the wines of SPAIN!
From Cava to Txakoli, from Rioja to Ribera del Duero, Spain can be an intimidating country when it comes to drinking and enjoying wine. What are the top regions? What are they best known for? What is a Crianza versus and Reserva versus a Gran Reserva?
TCWE to the rescue! In this class, we’ll give you all the info you need to know without overwhelming you with what you don’t. We will start with the history of Spanish wine, which helps to explain the styles of wines from particular regions. Then we’ll break the country into sub-regions that connect the dots of the key grape varieties.
This fast-paced class will cover Txakoli, Rioja, Rueda, Toro, Priorat, La Mancha, and many more regions. You’ll leave with more Spanish wine confidence than you can imagine.
Six outstanding wines will be presented, along with a ton of information and education. All wines will be available with special pricing through Solo Vino Wine Shop in St. Paul.
