It starts with a simple question: What makes for a great wine and food pairing? There are several theories, from comparative flavors to contrasting flavors. From the balance of acids and fats to the play of tannin or sweetness. In this class, we explore them all.
Through a carefully created program using a range of wines with a pre-set palate of flavors (lemon juice, salt, sugar, and unsalted butter), we’ll demystify the art of wine and food pairing. Moving through six different wines with six different personalities, plus giving you detailed info on regions, grape varieties, winemaker influences, and more, you’ll leave with far more new knowledge than you thought possible.
The goal? Forevermore, you’ll be able to confidently order wine based on ANY food you’re going to pair it with, and vice-versa.
