Drinking in History: “Saving the John Cook House – How a Community Came Together to Preserve a Minneapolis Landmark”

August 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This moderated panel discussion will explore the remarkable journey to save the historic Cook House from demolition. Through an engaging conversation with those at the center of the effort, attendees will hear firsthand about building community support, overcoming obstacles, and envisioning the future of this iconic property. Whether you’re passionate about historic preservation, interested in community organizing, or simply curious about the story behind one of Minneapolis’ historic homes, this event will offer insight into how ordinary people can come together to make an extraordinary impact.
